60 hours and counting...
I have no hair left. I am frustrated beyond belief...
The Internet connection to the RMI office has been out for about 60 hours now. With no Internet connection to the office, it means no phones for us at the office and no email system for all of RMI, including our fields. What a headache! Everyone is forced into using personal email addresses. Will we ever get the emails that were sent to us these last few days? Who knows?! Argh...
One of the most frustrating parts is there is nothing I can do about it! Apparently there was a lightning strike on the tower that provides us service. The company has parts being flown in, and they tell me it should be fixed today (Thursday) sometime. My faith is weak. My fingers are crossed.
I have feverishly been researching other options for us. Not necessarily due to this recent outage, but more related to ongoing instability for the last year or so. Maybe this "act of God" lightning strike will provide impetus for us to make a needed change. I am several hours away from pulling the trigger and going with a different company that will provide more stability, faster speeds, at the same cost.
